BattleTrolls
BattleTrolls was an ambitious project at a time when online gaming was in its infancy. A team of six took 12 months to reach beta launch, then a further 8 months to final release. The project encompassed 3 core sites, 8 modal screens (Battlescreen, Battlechamber, Challenge, Warrior's hall, BattleStats, Army review, Graveyard, and Trollshop), 18 rank states, 6 battle environments, 48 character cards each with four progressive evolution states, 3 premium 3D Trolls, and 24 powerups.

Each "Troll" or warrior card boasted a unique set of strengths and weaknesses including a signature special attack, and could evolve into more a powerful character through successive battle victories. Extensive original vector artwork was created, including numerous character illustrations and 3D renderings, plus a cohesive medieval-style interface metaphor and sophisticated ActionScript - backend integration.

The game developed a membership base exceeding 10,000 players but was ahead of its time in terms of technology and consumer acceptance of online purchasing.  Responsibilities encompassed : interface design, character sketching and vector rendering, icons, ads & promos, content development, copywriting/editing, team leadership & project management. Tech: Flash4, PHP, MySQL, HTML tables (pre-DHTML/CSS era)
